Experience has shown that people quickly feel at ease with working this way and sometimes, it's even easier than being face to face with someone. Working on the phone somehow evens up the balance, and people can progress very quickly. It also means there are no geographical limits on who I work with; some of my clients have been on the other side of the world from my home. I run groups so that parents can discuss these feelings with other people who are in the same boat; or who have been, (according to the age of your children) everyone has something to give and something to learn. In general, I deliver these interactive workshops over the phone as telecourses. For those who live near my home there is the option of attending local classes that I run in person. The material I deliver is play based and builds relationships, it has been built up over years of experience and benefits from being extensively researched *.
